We’re reaching out to all our distributors and retail partners to share an update on the new film. Feel free to reply to this email if you would like to follow up individually.
We are excited to inform you that the new film, now officially named Lucky C200 was officially launched at the Shanghai International Photography & Digital Imaging Equipment Exhibition!
Over the weekend, we were also informed by the factory that the first batch off the production line batch was completed, but is being reserved for internal testing and limited domestic distribution in China only.
The good news is that the second production batch is already scheduled to begin coating this week. An additional up-side is that we expect that this subsequent batch will not only be a larger quantity, but also make some finishing improvements to the emulsion based on feedback from the first batch. Updated wholesale pricing will also be announced alongside the new production.
We understand the difficulty of delays like these and want to emphasize that transparency is a core value for us during this process. We are committed to keeping you informed each step of the way as we work to get the film into your hands as soon as possible.
We are eager to ship out film as soon as we receive the new stock. Thank you for your patience and continued support. The journey to revive film production is not easy, but your enthusiasm and encouragement have been our greatest motivation. More new film products are already in the pipeline – stay tuned!
